my writing (or just feel like making my day!), i have

personal manifesto

i made a neocities in hopes of eventually, ideally, divorcing myself completely from social media while still giving myself an outlet to share my creative endeavors. i still have a lot to learn, my site isn't perfect; i use templates and copious amounts of tutorials, but i'm proud of my sense of self expression on here and i think it can only get better with time!
finding myself more and more disenchanted with fandom spaces on social media has led me to seek to kind of make my own space where i can share what i like with people who like it, and avoiding senseless and upsetting [shipping, headcanon, etc] discourses and arguments. i love analyzing the stuff i'm into and i feel like fandom condemns people for challenging fanon and criticising a [piece of media's] objective flaws, instead of being aware of it or discussing it. racism, trans/misogyny, adn lgbtphobia run rampant in even the most "progressive" spaces and i've been enjoying distancing myself from it all in favor of coding, reading, dreamwidth blogging and shrine building.
i was inspired (as i often am!) by other people's manifestos so i guess This Too is a work in progress... heh!
