BIOGRAPHY

I wanted to be inside, to talk to them, to laugh with them, to make them see the person I truly was. But instead, I was always on the outside, looking in, feeling like a crocodile in a world of humans.

crocodile dutch is an easy-going american crocodile that loves eating and lazing about. he's quiet, but always does his best to lend a paw to those around him. his body language is nearly always relaxed, and he speaks with a flat tone of voice. he is never without his tinted glasses (unless they're pushed up onto his head); they're prescription!

a blue-collar croc like him doesn't get much time off, but when he does, he fancies his girlfriend's good cooking (or some greasy fast food!), a nap in the sun, and a swim! he likes breaking a sweat and going on long drives, and sleeps with a teddy bear named albeart. he loves to cuddle... he's always cold! his pug named chickpea is his whole world, and he spoils her often!

FUN FACTS + INVENTORY

his design was inspired from old hollywood/vegas, in homage to my love for casinos, the strip, and their history (as well as my own wardrobe of course!). old hanna-barbera cartoons, vintage butch lesbian masculinity (the first kind i ever saw!), and general macho/sleaze magazines can also be cited as inspiration! all of these things play into my identity in their own unique way, heh!
his species, the [american] crocodile (it's fine if he's mistaken as a gator too!), is very personal to me. i love crocodiles for their resillience and rugged beauty, how sensitive they are (despite their appearance/demeanor suggesting otherwise)... and i attribute a lot of my connection to my lesbianism to crocodiles... maybe it's a bit too personal to elaborate on for now, though!
his gender, tbutch lesbian, is of course... my own! i'm guarded and can come off kind of standoffish and cold (irl. it's easier to be more Outwardly Friendly online imo!), and i've endured a lot; being who i am is not for the faint of heart! crocs can definitely be brutal, but show surprising (to some!) tenderness, too. i use my fursona to express more "abstract" concepts of my gender and express pride in my body... if only i could have a big scaly tail irl!

i selfship using my fursona! he can hang with any of my favorites as long as he's not being feminized in any way. interpretations vary, but generally speaking it's safe to portray my fursona as their big hulking lapcroc! or perhaps we can be big bad beasties together!
